Available July 1st-September 24th

Pasco County scallop season
will open starting the third Friday in July and continuing for 10 days each year. The Hernando County Line is the next county North and scallops season will be open from July 1st through September 24th each year.
Hernando County will add some travel time to the trip, but it is an enjoyable ride past the stilt home style fishing lodges around the mouth of the Cotee River. Max group size is 6 people not including captain and crew. The hours are a little more up to you, but best when the sun is overhead for visibility.
If you book during the Hernando County Season, outside Pasco County's 10 day open season, we recommend at least a 5 hour or full day charter to give you enough time in the water as we will need to run North from Pasco County up past the Hernando County line and back to stay legal. We supply waters, Gator aid, ice, coolers, catch bags, licenses, ziplocks baggies for your catch and safety gear. We recommend that you bring your personal snorkel gear(including fins, separate mask & snorkel. Not the full face combos)Also bring lunch, snacks, sunscreen, towels, hats, sunglasses, and any adult beverages as long (as there is no underage drinking) and mixers you may want. You should also bring a small cooler to take home your catch! Scallop trips typically run $350 +tax on the shorter 4 hour days and $600 + tax for a 7 hour day. These are more guidelines and can be adjusted even the day of the trip to accommodate your group. Extra time runs about $75-$100 an hour depending on how much fuel we are burning. Also Keep in mind during the season when Pasco County is closed we must travel directly back to drop off our catch without stops to stay legal. We can however go back out to the islands or for a sunset cruise after the drop-off if you would like. Partial Days 5 hours ($475 + Tax)
and Full days 7+ hours ($600 + tax)
